Coach Marc Adler is the founder of Amoney Sportz. Marc attended Montville High School and was a varsity basketball starter all four years. During this time he also led his AAU team to two straight AAU National appearances, playing against and with athletes such as Amare Stoudemire (Phoenix Suns), Louel Deng (Chicago Bulls) and JR Smith (Denver Nuggets). Marc participated in the Maccabi games in 2001 leading his team to the Gold Medal.Coach Marc played college basketball at SUNY Brockport. He was selected to the SUNYAC All Academic Team during his freshman year. Since graduating Summa Cum laude with a 3.8 gpa, Marc has done professional recruiting for semi pro teams and has worked with the University of Rhode Island Division 1 Girl's Basketball team. Currently Marc coaches AAU teams, runs clinics and camps for all age groups and conducts private lessons.. He has worked extensively with professional coaches and players. Coach Marc strives to take each and every player to the next level. Last season Coach Marc guided his 8th grade team to the AAU Nationals down in Disney! He has built a winning foundation with great coaches and great kids in the Amoney All Starz Family!


Coach Tessa Lozner will be assisting with many of our Girls Teams this spring, where she will help in practices, games, and assist with private and group lessons! She is ranked as one of the BEST Point Guards in the state NJ and will bring her love for the game and upbeat personality, which is a perfect fit for the A-Money program! The girls are going to love working With her! Coach Tessa is the captain at Gill St. Bernard's and will be playing college basketball next year at Tufts University. As her team’s point guard, she led the state of NJ in total assists and assists per game, and received all-conference honors. She is currently ranked #4 in NJ, and is working towards helping her High School team make a deep run in both the county and state tournaments. She has played AAU since 3rd grade at the highest level and her ability to lead her team, assist and score, has led to many college offers. She is excited to continue her basketball career at Tufts University and pass on her knowledge to our A-Money players! We are beyond excited to see Coach Tessa work with our players this spring!


Coach Mike Lambusta was a multiple sports athlete growing up. Whether it was basketball, baseball, football or soccer, Coach Mike knew from an early age that sports are his passion. He started playing travel basketball in 5th grade and continued to master his craft throughout middle school and high school. He attended Morris Hills High school where he was a starting player on the varsity basketball team during his sophomore- senior year. He went on to win the coach's award as the most outstanding player. During his senior year, he won the Knights Pride award in recognition of outstanding dedication, courage and athletic achievement. His dedication to basketball continued as he attended many elite camps and clinics. His persistence payed off and he won MVP of the Morris Catholic basketball camp two years in a row, competing among 100 other players. Unfortunately, due to multiple shoulder injuries as well as a back injury, coach Mike was unable to play at the collegiate level, but that didn't stop his love and passion that he has for the game of basketball. Coach Mike is phenomenal with kids and wants to share his knowledge and experience with young athletes. His main goal is to help these young athletes achieve their maximum potential as basketball players & make them better on and off the court! Coach Mike coaches Amoney year round with Teams, clinics, camps and personal lessons. His knowledge and dedication to the game is unmatched.


Coach Michael Cheatham (Coach "C") We are super excited to have on staff: His wealth of coaching experience and background, energy and passion comes as a natural fit to the A-Money family! He has been coaching players from elementary school all the way up to HS. His proven track record of developing not only the player on the floor but off it: He also was Gatorade: Will To Win Athlete - has his USA Youth Coaching Certification, CPD Certified in physical education, coaching styles and techniques, as well as his Certification in Sports Science Essentials: Performance & Recovery - CPR & AED (BLS) Certified. He can not wait to get on the court!


Coach Kayden Thompson was a multiple sport athlete that includes basketball, football, baseball & volleyball in High school. Basketball is his true passion which he played High School for Passaic County Tech. He was a star playing AAU and travel basketball his whole life. Coach Kayden has run numerous camps, Clinics and teams around NJ- making players not only better on the court but off the court.. His passion for the sport shines through in every practice & game he does. He loves working with players to better their fundamentals. Every player that plays for him loves him and sees their improvement on the court!


Coach Wayne Patterson is a lifelong elite Multiple Sport Athlete. Coach Wayne has been a multi sport athlete competing at a high level at the age of 5. Since Graduating College, coach has built himself quiet a resume in the sports world from playing against numerous professional athletes in both the NBA and NFL. A 4-year varsity starter in both sports during high school for, while being recruited by a multitude of division 1 programs while still just in middle school. Coach Wayne went on to play both football and basketball his freshman year at the collegiate level at Lackawanna college, while continuing to play only football the rest of his college at Montclair state university. Graduating with a major in justice studies and a minor in environmental education. Coach Wayne Has now been with the Amoney program as a Coach for the last two years! His passion and energy stands out to everyone around him! His personality is second to none and any athlete who gets to work with him is extremely lucky!


Coach Ked Novembre is a Newark, NJ native and graduate of New Jersey City University with degrees in Finance and Computer Science. With over TWENTY plus years of coaching experience Coach Ked has never lost his passion for the game. After playing varsity baseball at Clifford J. Scott HS he took over as the lead youth and teen sports coordinator for the Montclair YMCA servicing ages 1-18 while attending college. There he founded the very successful Montclair Panthers travel basketball program which included middle school and high school boys/girls teams in partnership with the YMCA and the Montclair School District. With Ked's leadership this program was able earn multiple division and finals championships over the years including 10 straight finals appearances in three separate divisions simultaneously...still a record. Being a strong believer in coaching and player development he also started the Montclair Winners community program. Kids in the community and surrounding areas from grades 1st- High School could come and develop their skills, become better players, and learn to work as a team. Young aspiring coaches from grades 11 and up can also come to learn how to become leaders and service their communities. Ked is not only proud of the accomplishments within these programs but also the success of the players once they move on...Many of his players have been recruited to top HS programs in NJ such as Seton Hall Prep, St. Peters Prep, Hudson Catholic, Patrick School, as well as various D1 and D2 college programs. Coach Ked's belief in working hard and as a team with positive energy served what Amoney Sportz is all about!


Coach Justice Sims-McCray is an Orange, NJ native and graduate of Seton Hall Preparatory High School & North Carolina A&T State University with a degree in Business Management concentrated in Entrepreneurship. Coach Justice was a three sport athlete in High School including Basketball, Football and Track, becoming a division 1 athlete in the latter sport. Coach Justice has coached for many years and has led many of those teams to the championship, walking away with two of them. His focus as a coach is not just to win games but to build winners of life, with a winner's mentality, a winner's mindset and a winner's spirit. He uses the tool of basketball to teach his players real life skills, building them to be better at everything. We are very excited to have him part of the A-money Family.


Coach Marc Gold is a multiple sport athlete, having played soccer, lacrosse, basketball, baseball, and football throughout his athletic career. Coach Gold, along with Coach Marc has played with various AAU programs such as, New Jersey Wildcats, Morris County Bulls and New York City Gauchos. Coach Gold played varsity for three years at both backcourt positions. He was elected captain his junior and senior years and was named to first and second team all conference respectfully both of those years. Coach Gold is a teacher at Mapplewood middle school He has now picked up a whistle to become a coach. Marc has coached multiple teams, including boys' and girls' teams, from the age ranges of third grade to ninth grade. Coach Gold has been the Head coach of the Amoney All Starz 5th, 6th, grade teams over the last 3 years! He has a natural way with kids and motivates them to be the best player they can be! He has racked up numerous Tournament Championships in the Amoney Organization!


Coach DeVere Hatchett has been around basketball his entire life. He is the owner and founder of an organization called The Hoop Community where he promotes basketball as a lifetime sport for basketball enthusiasts. Born and raised in city of Newark, NJ where he helped with leagues such as the Zoo Crew and Branch Brook Park summer leagues. He was inspired to make basketball a big part of my life when I realized what type of relationships the sport could create and the opportunities that come along with them. He has coached at the scholastic level for over 15 years. He began his coaching career as a youth coaching 10 and under through high school aged players. He also played 4 years in high school and 2 years in college. After college he decided to coach at my Alma mater Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair. He then moved on to coach for Newark Public Schools at Rafael Hernandez Elementary School, American History High School, and now is currently the Coach at Barringer High School. His positive demeanor, wealth of knowledge about the game and being able to relate to his players are things we can't wait for him to bring to the Amoney Family!


Coach Rachel Walker originally from Norwalk, CT grew up in a basketball family, playing basketball for over 10+ years and started when she was only 5 years old. Growing up, she was a starter throughout her career and played in the girl's basketball league, AAU, travel, attended camps, high school, and intramural basketball in college. Coach Rachel was a multiple sport athlete in high school and along with basketball, she threw the discus, javelin and shot put on her track team. She previously coached and enjoys teaching young athletes how to build their skills on and off the court through hard work, dedication and teamwork. Coach Rachel attended Eastern Connecticut State University receiving her Bachelors in Communication and attended Rutgers University receiving her Masters in Higher Education. Since moving to New Jersey, Rachel has wanted to continue to mentor athletes and is looking forward to being a part of the A-Money family!


Coach Mike Roberts comes from a big basketball family. He started playing at a young age and was a varsity starter for all four years of high school. Mike's specialty has always been his shooting and facilitating abilities from the shooting guard and small forward positions.After high school, Mike continued his basketball career at the collegiate level by taking the HBCU route and playing at Delaware State University. He then took his game international, playing professionally in Romania for a few seasons. Upon returning stateside, Mike transitioned to coaching. He started with AAU programs and personal training before founding his own successful AAU organization based in Essex County, New Jersey. Under Mike's leadership, his teams have won numerous championships, including back-to-back YMCA Northern New Jersey Division titles.Known for his player development skills, Mike has coached and trained NBA talents such as Cole Anthony, Naz Reid and Sharife Cooper and others. As a Newark native, he takes pride in giving back to his local community through basketball. Beyond coaching AAU, Mike accepted a head coaching position at a private New York high school. He has led them to multiple A.C.I.S championships. Mike believes in using basketball to help young athletes grow both on and off the court. His goal is to see players succeed in life, whether or not they continue playing the game. He provides mentorship and guidance to help give back to the communities he grew up in.


Coach Asante Ward is a lifelong resident of East Orange, Asanté grew up partaking in many athletic activities in different programs. Amongst his ambitions, basketball has been at the core of his passions since adolescence. Over the years of studying Sports Management at William Paterson University and acquiring skills in personal training and basketball programs, Asanté enlisted in the East Orange Recreation Department’s summer program to foster and grow his skills. During his educational career, he attained admirable and consistent leadership qualities which led to recognition with the National Society of Leadership & Success in his sophomore year of university. With a goal in mind post-graduation, he worked his way up from being Assistant Director to the Director of the East Orange Co-Ed Summer Basketball Camp where he has impacted his team as a leader, father figure, and coach. Continuing to give back to the game of basketball, Asanté has been coaching for many years and looks forward to coaching amoney and brining his knowledge of the game!
